WHAT IS B2SP?
We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to resourcing West Auckland families in order to create a positive future for their children. It is our hope to break the cycle of poverty one piece of stationery at a time. We realise we cannot take care of every need, but it is our goal to help families by removing one obstacle that has become a burden in their lives. We work alongside the local schools and social services of West Auckland to find families needing assistance and provide them with backpacks full of stationery. Our desire in doing this is to inspire hope into the mindsets of the students and their families.

“Thank you so so much for the love and kindness that fills each of the backpacks you donated. The difference it makes for our children is huge! The kids (and families) received the backpacks with huge smiles on their faces and were able to rock up to school ready to go - just like their peers. Having stationery, school hats and a drink bottle has meant that these students have started the school year thinking about what to play at lunchtime as opposed to thinking about being different to their mates. The extra efforts you go to are noticed and appreciated.”

The Back2School Project is able to provide for the families because of partnerships with local businesses, schools and individuals.
