how to fundraise for back2school project

rally your community

Gather your workplace, school, sports team, faith group or whānau. Anyone can join in!

You don’t have to be big, just passionate!

Day One: Community Initiative

Too many children miss their first day of school because they don’t have the basics. You can change that.

Day One: Community Initiative is your chance to fundraise for tamariki in need. With our free resource booklet full of ideas and templates, it’s easy to get involved and make a real impact. Let’s help every child start school proud and prepared.

peace by piece - $2 weekly donation

3% Cover the Fee

Did you know that for $2 a week you can fully fund a backpack and stationery kit for a child facing hardship. That’s less than your weekly coffee out! It is through community that we can provide peace for our tamariki, one piece of stationery at a time.

share our story

Help us spread the word—share our story and become a champion of change in your community.

BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER

At Back2School Project, we believe real change starts with community showing up for community. That’s why we invite you to be more than just a supporter, but a Community Partner!

As a Community Partner, you join a growing movement of schools, businesses, teams and organisations who are helping students start the year with dignity, confidence and the tools they need to thrive.

Your partnership powers change.

This is an opportunity to lead with purpose, rally your community and make tangible impact together. By partnering with us, you’re helping provide backpacks, school stationery and a message of hope to local students and families.

Whether you contribute financially, host a stationery drive, raise awareness or volunteer as a group—you’re part of something bigger.
