where are we

While our roots are in West Auckland, Back2School Project is now serving school communities across the Auckland region.

who is our community

We are driven by the concept that we are better together. That together, we can create healthy systems of belonging and acceptance.

  • These are the incredible businesses and organisations that walk alongside us, donating funds or physical items to ensure Back2School Project can continue supporting our community.

  • We work with local schools and social services to identify their student’s current needs. Many of these same schools help us out by hosting in-house fundraisers. This furthers the cycle of community helping community

  • The caregivers of our young tamariki are some of the most important people in our community. We might not know each household’s story, but we know every family deserves the chance to thrive, not just survive. When we take one weight off their shoulders—like the cost of school supplies—we give space for joy, connection, and stability to grow.

  • The heart of our community, the students we support. Their smiles, curiosity, and courage fuel this mission. They are not just recipients—they are the reason, the inspiration, and the future of our community. We dream of empowered tamariki who will one day grow into leaders, carers, and change-makers in the very community that believed in them first.
